Join Ignite Studio during the month of November for a special series of veterans programs. Ignite will honor veterans by holding sessions every Monday from 1:30-3pm in the makerspace. These sessions are aimed at providing activities and a welcoming space to create and learn about what Ignite Studio has to offer.
Veterans can attend one or all of the dates. Registration begins two weeks prior to date of activity or class. If spots are still available on the day of the activity, walk-ins are welcome!
November 4 – Ignite Tour and Activity – Tour the space to learn about our equipment (and how to get certified), kits, classes, drop-ins and more.
November 11 – Woodburning Demonstration and Activity – Watch a demonstration on pyrography led by an Ignite staff member and then try your hand at creating your own piece.
November 18 – Weaving class with Maker-in-Residence – Join our Maker-In-Residence, Nicole Meyer, in this introductory lesson in weaving.
November 25 – Kit and equipment exploration – Grab a kit or try out a piece of equipment with an Ignite staff person on hand to answer questions.
