Introducing the new Handi Quilter Moxie Longarm! This longarm features a 15-inch throat space and sits on an 8-foot loft frame, making all your quilting dreams possible. The machine is equipped with Pro-Stitcher Lite, a computerized quilting program that exponentially increases the machine’s capabilities.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Utilize the seamless free-motion function to create designs that bring a homemade feel to your quilting projects. Level up your quilting projects with a completely automated design programmed by you and initiated by the machine. Computerized quilting allows for intricate, detailed designs to adorn your quilt, giving it a professional finish. This machine can help bring to life all kinds of quilted projects- the only limit is your imagination!
HOW CAN I USE IT?
To get started, follow this link to complete the online portion of the certification process. The online portion will walk you through 4 different videos that introduce you to the machine, its components, and its capabilities.
When finished, reach out to the Ignite Maker Lab via email at [email protected] to set up a date and time to come in for the in-person portion of the certification process. This portion will be conducted in small groups of 6 people or less to accommodate more patrons completing certification. Sessions will last approximately an hour and a half. Together, we will go over how to get started with the longarm from start to finish.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
When you come in for your in-person certification, you do not need to bring anything along with you. All thread and fabric for these classes will be provided. However, once you begin coming in for your regularly scheduled appointments, you will need to bring all supplies and materials to quilt with you. Ignite Maker Lab will only provide thread.
