KayBae Art is a midwest-based creative studio exploring organic, deeply textured, and delicate beauty while drawing inspiration from Eastern and Western cultures. Kay’s creativity is fueled by the beauty of lines, shapes, colors, and space in both the natural and man-made world. Most of Kay’s work can be characterized by its linear rhythm, dynamic movement, and use of varied materials that, along with vibrant colors, create bold compositions. Kay’s work is unique in the the amount of attention paid to color, time, and methodology. Because of her wide-ranging interests, she explores a number of mediums including acrylic, oil, watercolor, silk painting, mixed media collage, drawing, ceramics, jewelry, textiles, sewing, crochet, and felting.
