meet Brittany Kugler

Costume Designer

Residency Term: Fall/Winter 2019

Brittany Kugler is a costume designer/stitcher and social practice artist based in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has designed costumes for the Phoenix Theater, Indiana University-Kokomo, University of Indianapolis, Summit Performance Indy, and Cathedral High School. Kugler works at Cathedral High as their Costume Coordinator and loves sharing her skill set with young people. Kugler applied her passion for sewing and social nature to her master’s degree in Social Practice Art from the University of Indianapolis. She has since partnered with Big Car Collaborative and Garfield Parks Arts Center to create free, arts-based, public programming. Recently, she worked as a Design Assistant on two plays at American Players Theater (Spring Green, WI) and had an installation, Florals, with Emma Landwerlen in the Circle Center Mall windows with StARTUp317.
