You Grow Girl: A Solo Exhibition by Mallory Coffey

August 8 2025 – September 19 2025

Mallory Coffey is a fine artist with experience spanning 15+ years. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting and printmaking and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Purdue University. She has a passion for art, science, nature, and community. Mallory has participated in many exhibitions and worked with Newfields as an art conservation technician, which she considers a dream role. Over the years she has worked as a freelance artist painting portrait commissions while moving around as part of a military family. Now back home in Indiana, Mallory most recently was awarded first place in the juried “The 700s Collection” exhibition at Ignite Studio in early 2025, which brought her the honor of this solo show called “You Grow Girl.”

“You Grow Girl” is a exhibit that explores several different types of mediums, from subtractive charcoal to printmaking. Mallory’s art is inspired by the ways that women are both strong and vulnerable and can often feel these at the same time. The work in the show is an invitation to reflect on the complexities of life, to celebrate the strength that lies in vulnerability, and honor the beauty in our differences and shared experiences.
